Catholic Church approves iPhone confession app
Need to confess your sins? There’s an app for that.
You can go to the iTunes App Store and, for $1.99, purchase the “Confession” program, designed to assist Catholics with the sacrament of reconciliation.
Pope Benedict XVI has told Catholics to embrace the digital world and make their presence felt, and now he has given his stamp of approval to an application for the iPhone that allows people to keep track of the sins they’ve committed. While not designed for the purpose of replacing a visit to the priest, the app is is supposed to help Catholics have a better grasp on what they do so they can take action. Continue reading
